Welcome to the Greene Public Library

The board and staff of the Greene Public Library are proud of the library's long history of service to the community! A large selection of books, magazines, audio books and movies are offered along with many new services. Search this website for icons and information about NEIBORS and digitized microfilm of the Greene Recorder.

The library is decorated with all kinds of hearts and love-themed materials.

The library has some free tax forms available for the public.  We have W-2's, W-3's, 1099 Dividend, 1099 Interest, 1099 Misc., 1096s, 1040's, 1040A's and 1040EZ's.  Other federal and state forms can be found and printed from government websites.  Our librarians will be happy to assist people in finding their needed forms.

The library is wrapped in love this February with many, many red and pink hearts and love-themed library materials on display.  Sandy Ruby has created this "lovely" corner.

Stop in and participate in our "Blind Date with a Book" reading incentive program.  A very sweet prize will be awarded to one lucky individual!
