Welcome to the Greene Public Library

The board and staff of the Greene Public Library are proud of the library's long history of service to the community! A large selection of books, magazines, audio books and movies are offered along with many new services. The library has been decked out in Christmas finery! 

Holiday Hours: 

Wednesday, December 24th (Christmas Eve Day) 9:00 a.m. - Noon

Thursday, December 25th (Christmas Day)  CLOSED

Friday, December 26th & Saturday, December 27th - we'll be open our regularly scheduled hours (Fri. 9-5 & Sat. 9-3)



The Library has been decorated for the holidays with many strands of lighted garland, floating snowflakes, icicles & snowballs, richly adorned Christmas trees in the main part of the library & the meeting room, a bright "Tis the Season" bulletin board, a snowy Christmas village and a warm corner featuring an antique sled and many holiday-themed books!
