Welcome to the Greene Public Library

The board and staff of the Greene Public Library are proud of the library's long history of service to the community! A large selection of books, magazines, audio books and movies are offered along with many new services. Search this website for icons and information about NEIBORS and digitized microfilm of the Greene Recorder.

Marnie Schmidt is encouraging everyone, even penguins, to keep reading this winter!

The library has some free tax forms available for the public.  So far, we have W-2's, W-3's, 1099 Dividend, 1099 Interest, 1099 Misc., and 1096s.

January arrived and we are suffering through days of blustery cold temperatures.  Everyone is encouraged to curl up by the fire with a good library book or movie!  Marnie Schmidt has created another bulletin board that gets across a strong message - even penguins like to read!
